The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Blazers secured their first victory in the 88th NCAA basketball games against the Lyceum Pirates last Monday, June 25, 2012 at The Arena in San Juan City. In a game with a 70-61 ending, the Blazers were able to turn the tables on their troublesome opponents who gave them a hard time for the first three quarters. It seemed that the Pirates will snatch the win when they ended the third quarter with a 4-point lead. But the tides turned when Carlo Lastimosa, Blazers star athlete, gave an aggressive 8-points in the last quarter, which worked well with the Blazers' defense strategy.
