- How can I contact the DLS-CSB Admissions Center for questions about application procedures?
Visit the DLS-CSB Admissions Center website at http://www.dls-csb.edu.ph/admissions or personally visit the DLS-CSB Admissions Center located at the Ground Floor, Solomon Hall, DLS-CSB Taft Campus.
- I'm interested in applying to DLS-CSB as an undergraduate, how can I secure a brochure?
Upon your application for freshman entrance exam, you will automatically be given a copy of the brochure. You may also download the brochures from the DLS-CSB website or personally pick up brochures from the DLS-CSB Admissions Center.
- How much does the DLS-CSB application cost?
The DLS-CSB application kit costs Php600.00 for Filipino citizens and US$50.00 for international applicants.
- What are the requirements for freshmen admission to De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde?
Admission requirements include a filled-out application form, three copies of recent 2X2 pictures, Secondary Scholastic Record (HS 1st year to 3rd year grades) accomplished by the HS Registrar, certified true copy of birth certificate, and two (2) Recommendation From including one from the principal, assistant principal or discipline head and one from the homeroom adviser or counselor. All application-related forms may be acquired from the DLS-CSB website or from the DLS-CSB Admissions Center.
- Does DLS-CSB reserve an admission quota for each high school institution?
No, we don't. We admit students based on their aptitudes, capabilities, high school performance, and not the school they come from.
- If one fails to qualify for admission, are there other options available? Can they make an appeal to be admitted?
Students who have previously applied yet failed to make it to the cut-off will always have a second chance to apply. They need to visit the DLS-CSB Admissions Center and file a Request for Reconsideration form. The admission of these students will depend on the result of their re-evaluation and the number of slots available.
- Does DLS-CSB offer scholarships?
Yes, DLS-CSB offers a number of scholarships and financial aids to deserving students. These includes merit scholarships, talent scholarships, financial assistance and government-endorsed scholarships. You may visit the Student Grants Office web pages for more information.
- How much is the tuition fee at DLS-CSB?
For SY2011-2012, the cost per unit is at Php2,114. The trimestral tuition fee will depend on how many units a student enrolls in. A good estimate would be Php55,000 to Php70,000 per trimester.
- Does DLS-CSB accept installment payments?
DLS-CSB does not accept installment payments for freshmen students and transferees. However, upperclassmen are given an opportunity to pay in installments.
- What is the difference between De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde?
De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde are both members of De La Salle Philippines, Incorporated and are managed by the La Salle Brothers. In terms of operations, both schools are autonomous from one another. DLSU and DLS-CSB adheres to different educational philosophies. DLSU recently embraced transformational learning while DLS-CSB adheres to the learner-centered educational philosophy. DLSU offers more traditional courses such as engineering, business and the sciences. DLS-CSB offers non-traditional, innovative and industry-responsive courses such as hotel, restaurant and institutional management, multimedia arts, fashion design, export management among others.
- Is it true that those who failed in DLSU are accepted in DLS-CSB?
The notion that De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde is a place for students who failed in DLSU is not true. Since DLSU and DLS-CSB are autonomous from one another, DLS-CSB has its own set of admission policies and procedures including its own admissions test—the Benildean Entrance Examination (BEE). Students may be accepted to DLSU but not in DLS-CSB and vice versa.
- Do you offer scholarships for athletes?
Yes. Students who are interested in athletic scholarships are advised to visit the Sports Development Office for tryouts.
- Do you have special requirements for international applicants?

- Are there fraternities in DLS-CSB?
De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde does not recognize any fraternities or sororities. In fact, students are required to sign a non-fraternity contract before enrollment.
- Do you allow smoking in campus?
No. DLS-CSB is a non-smoking campus. We have policies and sanctions for students who are caught smoking within DLS-CSB campuses.
